The woom KIDS helmet meets the European safety standards according to EN 1078:2012/A1:2012 (helmets for cyclists and for users of skateboards and roller skates). In 2020, our helmet again successfully passed all the product tests required for this.
Impact protection visor
The specially developed visor protects against rain and sun and at the same time helps to prevent injuries to the face. The combination of pollutant-free elastomer and honeycomb-like structure ensures maximum cushioning in the event of a fall. If the worst comes to the worst, a good visor is everything.
Fidlock® magnetic closure
With the child-friendly magnetic closure, kids can safely close and open their helmet, even with one hand and gloves. And without pinching your skin or hair!
Reflective logo
The woom logo applied to the helmet is made from a special reflective adhesive film, which ensures more visibility and thus more safety in the dark and in poor light conditions.
Construction method
The high-quality outer shell is fused directly with the inner layer (in-mould construction), which gives the helmet a low weight and a particularly robust structure. A second in-mould layer on the bottom edge serves as edge protection and increases the longevity of the helmet. Robust, light, durable. Check, check, check.
size adjustment system
The internal size adjustment system offers a further fine adjustment of the helmet to the head circumference - for even more comfort and safety. The large, easy-to-grip wheel on the back can be easily operated by the child itself. So to speak, in no time at all.
round cords
The chic cords are already the perfect length and are in just the right place. Thanks to their round shape, they cannot twist and are therefore more comfortable to wear.
upholstery
Our helmet comes with two sets of pads of different thicknesses (3mm and 6mm). These can be combined as needed for a comfortable fit. The cushions are made of soft, absorbent material with no scratchy edges and can be easily removed for washing.
